Providing Individual and Family Therapy
The stress of work or relationships, loss or illness, loneliness or addiction, often leaves us with feeling empty and alone, anxious, fearful and depressed; we are unhappy with the way our lives our going, we are disappointed and frustrated. Maybe we have guilt or regret. Maybe we have chronic medical issues and have limitations that are difficult to accept; or worse yet, chronic pain. We want things to change, to be different, but we don't know how to make that happen. One solution we attempt is to try to make the another person change and that often makes things worse, creating power struggles and ongoing conflict. Another is taking multiple medications and yet still feeling bad. Be it at home or at work we find that our worry, fear and anger do not lead us to our goal but in fact often lead us to behaviors that are destructive of ourselves and others. We sabotage achieving the very things we want most in life.
You know what changes you want to make. You’re inspired. You’re motivated. You’ve set goals. You have days or weeks of success. You feel more connected to yourself and others, you begin to like yourself more, you have more energy, and it feels great to be unstuck and empowered. But after awhile what happens? You begin to fall back into old ways and before you know it you’re repeating the same old behaviors.
What do you need beyond inspiration, motivation and perseverance to achieve the changes you long for? How do you eliminate or modify those patterns and attain your goals? How do you reduce, manage and maybe even eliminate your anxiety or depression so it no longer impacts your life?
Once you have a basic understanding of the unconscious beliefs, fears and past experiences that drive you, of what stops you from being who and what you want to be, you will be able to move through these blocks. They become challenges, not obstacles; they become stepping stones that serve you rather than mistakes you regret. In therapy I will guide you toward understanding how you contribute to creating the life you have today thereby empowering you to create the life you've always wanted.

I will help you clarify the belief systems you currently operate from and create new possibilities in your life, leaving your negative thinking and unhealthy behaviors in the past and your future filled with exciting possibilities.
